Garden Room Cladding Options

Our luxury garden rooms are built to last a lifetime, but this doesn’t mean that substance overrides style. At Garden Room Solutions, we work with each of our clients to design and construct bespoke spaces specifically for their desires. In doing this, we are also able to ensure that each garden room’s exterior aesthetic is as you would want it. By offering a range of garden room cladding options, we give you the ability to ensure your building looks elegant and sophisticated while seamlessly integrating with the style and feel of your garden and home.

Whether you are looking for a home gym, an extra entertainment space or a home office, our garden rooms can look exactly how you would like with cladding.

What is Garden Room Cladding?

Garden room cladding is an exterior shell that is fitted to the walls of a building, in our case a garden room. This additional layer serves both functional and aesthetic purposes.

There are a number of materials that can be used, each offering different aesthetic styles and benefits.

Cladding is not load-bearing, meaning that it isn’t part of the structural make-up of our garden rooms. Instead, you can choose to add it to further enhance the style of your space.

What Are Our Cladding Options?

As part of our dedication to providing bespoke garden rooms to our clients, we offer a range of cladding options for you to choose from.

Garden Room Cladding Materials

We provide garden room cladding in 2 materials:

Each one offers different looks, but they both provide similar benefits.

You can also choose between standard or premium cladding. Our standard offering is James Hardie; this cladding is a high-quality material at an affordable price. If looking for something a little higher-end, we use Millboard cladding, which is designed to mimic the look and feel of wood.

Finishes and Colour Options

Depending on which material you choose, you will often have a choice of colouring and finishes.

We currently supply one type of timber cladding which is Red Grandis from the eucalyptus tree. We treat it with UV-Osmo oil to protect it against the sun’s UV rays and natural changes.

Composite Cladding

Both of our composite claddings come in a range of different colours, with the James Hardie collection offering 40 different colours to choose from.

Cladding Locations

You will not be limited to where you can place your cladding. We are happy to install it on all four exterior walls of your garden room, giving you complete design freedom.

You are also not limited to choosing just one type of cladding, so should you want one wall to be a different colour to others, this would be entirely feasible.

What Are the Benefits Of Cladding?

Choosing to add garden room cladding to your new luxury space provides several benefits.

  • Enhanced aesthetics: Timber cladding gives a natural look, while composite offers a range of colours and finishes you can use to compliment your garden and home.
  • Weather resistance: Cladding is a protective layer against the elements, safeguarding the structure and contents of your garden room.
  • Enhance durability: Cladding can shield the structure of your garden room from moisture and environmental exposure, extending its longevity.
  • Improved insulation: Some cladding can offer additional thermal insulation, helping regulate the temperature and keeping the space comfortable year-round.
  • Versatility: The range of colours offers our clients an opportunity to create a truly bespoke exterior that suits their architectural styles and aesthetic preferences.

Garden Room Cladding Maintenance

One of the benefits of adding garden room cladding is that it can often be very low maintenance.

However, to keep it looking brand new, there are a few tasks we recommend for each type of cladding.
