Before diving into making an enquiry and getting in touch with us, take a read of this blog to get an idea of how we’ll work with you during the process of building your garden room.

Step 1:
Get in Touch
The first step to starting the process of building your garden room will be to contact us to discuss what you’re looking for. You can either phone us directly on our mobiles, complete our contact form for a callback, or visit our showroom in Wimborne.
In this initial conversation, we’ll get to know what you would like to use the room for, how big you think it should be, and where you would like it positioned within your garden. At this stage, we’ll start to give some basic advice on the materials used, size, and design. We’ll also share some recent projects that are similar to what you’re looking for to give you some inspiration.
We believe in knowing who you are talking to and considering working with, which is why we’ll also take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about ourselves and the work we do.
Step 2:
Free Site Survey
If you like what you hear from us in the initial conversation, we’ll end it by booking a free site survey and finding a date and time that best suits you.
For this site survey, we’ll visit your home to get a better idea of the space we’ll be working with. This will allow us to measure the area to know how big we’ll be able to make your garden room. We’ll also check the ground type to confirm what foundation will be needed and if any further groundwork will be required, as well as drainage and a few other technical bits.
A site visit will also enable us to see your home and garden landscape up close. This will let us better advise on the best way to design your garden room so that it blends in seamlessly with your style and feel.
Planning permission requirements will always be factored in at this point. With over 20 years in property renovations, development, and design, our team have a wealth of knowledge and understanding when it comes to planning regulations and permissions needed in each area. We’ll discuss what you’ll need to do, if anything, and how that may affect the building process of your garden room.
With everything discussed, we’ll give you a verbal quote for the work required, which will be followed up with a written one once we get back to the office.
From here, we’ll wait for you to confirm that you’re happy to go ahead with us.

Step 3:
Designing Process
With the exciting news of a go-ahead from you, we’ll get to work designing your luxury garden room.
This process is very much a collaboration, as we want to ensure we incorporate everything you want, bringing your desires and visions to life.
We use 3D visuals to design each room and share these with you for feedback and thoughts so that we can tweak it to make it perfect for you. As we make sure that we have a thorough understanding of what you’re looking for when we visit your site, we usually find that this stage is quick and simple, actioning what we have heard from the start so you’re happy with the first visual sent.
We’ll use our expertise at every stage of the design process and will discuss any tweaks you wish to be made with you before making them on the design. Attention to detail is a priority here, so you can be confident that nothing will be missed in your designs and plans.
This stage will also include dealing with any planning permission paperwork needed on your behalf, completely removing the stress from you so you can get on with your day-to-day routines.
Step 4:
On-site Building
Once everyone is happy with the designs and any planning permission is sorted, we’ll book a date to start constructing your garden room.
This is done on-site in your garden and usually takes around three weeks to complete. The building process of your garden room will include erecting the structure, plastering, installing any plumbing and electricals needed, and painting the walls.
Our team are efficient and highly skilled, so you can trust that your garden room will be built to an incredibly high standard, using only the highest quality materials.
